# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The real vanilla bean creates those gorgeous little specks and a depth of flavor that extract just cannot match
  • You can customize the sweetness level to taste, making it less cloying than coffee shop versions
  • Takes literally five minutes from start to finish, faster than driving to a cafe
02 -
  • Blending too long can make the ice melt too fast, turning your frappuccino watery
  • Letting the vanilla bean steep in the milk for thirty minutes beforehand creates a much deeper flavor
  • These do not sit well so serve immediately while they are still frosty and thick
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for ten minutes before pouring, keeps everything colder longer
  • If using vanilla extract instead of a bean, add it after blending so the alcohol does not affect the texture
