Strawberry Brie Flatbread (Printer-friendly)

Crisp flatbread with melted Brie, fresh strawberries, honey, and basil. Quick 25-minute appetizer or light meal.

# What You Need:

→ Flatbread Base

01 - 2 pre-made flatbread rounds or naan bread
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil

→ Cheese

03 - 5.3 oz Brie cheese, sliced

→ Fruit

04 - 7.1 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

→ Toppings & Finishing

05 - 2 tbsp honey
06 - 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
07 - 1 handful fresh basil leaves, chopped
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place the flatbread rounds on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each evenly with olive oil.
03 - Arrange the Brie slices in an even layer across each flatbread, covering the surface.
04 - Scatter the sliced strawberries evenly over the cheese layer.
05 - Drizzle the honey evenly over the top of each flatbread.
06 - Bake for 10–12 minutes until the Brie is melted and bubbly and the flatbread edges are golden and crisp.
07 - Remove from the oven. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil, and season with freshly ground black pepper. Slice and serve warm.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Sweet meets savory meets creamy in every single bite, and somehow it only takes twenty five minutes from start to finish.
  • It looks like something you would order at a trendy restaurant but requires zero actual cooking skill to pull off beautifully.
02 -
  • Watch the oven like a hawk after the ten minute mark because the line between golden crisp and burnt is about sixty seconds.
  • Let the flatbread rest for two minutes before slicing so the cheese settles and your toppings do not slide right off onto the cutting board.
03 -
  • Slice your strawberries fairly thin because thick chunks release too much juice and make the flatbread soggy instead of crisp.
  • Warm the honey for ten seconds in the microwave before drizzling so it flows in a thin elegant stream rather than clumping in stubborn globs.
