Pretzel Treats Green Drizzle (Printer-friendly)

Bite-sized pretzels with a smooth green chocolate topping, ideal for festive snacks or gatherings.

# What You Need:

→ Pretzel Base

01 - 24 mini pretzel twists or squares

→ Toppings

02 - 4 oz white chocolate chips or melting wafers
03 - 1–2 drops green gel food coloring
04 - 2 tsp coconut oil or neutral vegetable oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
05 - Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or mini candies (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the pretzels in a single layer.
02 - Place white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until completely smooth. Stir in coconut oil if using for a thinner consistency.
03 - Add green gel food coloring one drop at a time, mixing well after each addition until you achieve your desired shade of green.
04 - Transfer the melted green chocolate to a small piping bag or a zip-top bag with a tiny corner snipped off for drizzling.
05 - Generously drizzle the green chocolate over the arranged pretzels in a back-and-forth motion.
06 - Immediately sprinkle with crushed nuts, mini candies, or sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet so they adhere properly.
07 - Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for 15–20 minutes, or refrigerate for 5–10 minutes until firm.
08 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They come together in under 20 minutes with zero baking required
  • The sweet-and-salty combo is genuinely addictive and festive
02 -
  • Liquid food coloring will seize and ruin your chocolate, always use gel
  • Work fast once you start drizzling or the chocolate will thicken in the bag
03 -
  • If your chocolate seizes or gets too thick, whisk in a teaspoon more coconut oil
  • Pipe the chocolate onto a separate piece of parchment first to test your pressure and flow
