# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The tortilla shell gets incredibly crunchy, almost like a thin crust pizza but with that satisfying burrito heft in your hands
  • Everything cooks together in one packet so all the pizza toppings stay contained instead of falling off when you take a bite
  • They reheat surprisingly well, making them perfect for the next days lunch or a midnight snack
02 -
  • Letting them rest for a couple of minutes after cooking prevents that molten lava cheese burn when you take that first eager bite
  • The seam side down placement is crucial otherwise they will unravel while cooking and you will have a cheesy mess on your hands
  • Overfilling seems tempting but leads to tortilla tears and burst seams during the baking process
03 -
  • Use a pizza cutter to slice them after baking because it cuts through the crispy tortilla without squishing everything inside
  • If your tortillas seem stiff, microwave them for 15 seconds before filling to make them more pliable and less likely to crack
