01 - Place the frozen banana slices into a high-powered food processor or blender. If your blender is not very powerful, let the slices thaw at room temperature for 2-3 minutes before processing.
02 - Blend until the bananas break down into small crumbly pieces, then continue processing until a smooth, creamy mixture forms. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure even blending.
03 - Add any desired flavor additions such as cocoa powder, frozen berries, nut butter, vanilla extract, or a pinch of salt. Blend again until all ingredients are fully incorporated. If the mixture is too thick, add a small splash of plant-based milk to reach the desired consistency.
04 - Serve immediately for a soft-serve consistency, or transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer, scoopable texture.
05 - Top with your choice of fresh fruit, chopped nuts or seeds, dark chocolate shavings, or coconut flakes before serving.
